Jan Adam Zandleven, geboren: 6 febr. 1868 Koog aan de Zaan, gestorven: 16 juli 1923 Rhenen.
Door middel van kunstpedagoog H.P.Bremmer, kwamen zijn werken bij particuliere en museale collecties.
Hij vervaardigde, stillevens, landschappen, o.a. ( duin) en dorpsgezichten en bosgezichten.
Gorssel, Hengelo(G.) Putten en Rhenen waren zijn inspiratie bron.
Hij staat op de Nederlandse waarde bepalende lijst van kunstenaars door de eeuwen heen op: W25
Uit eigen adm. werden tussen 1981 en 1989 vele schilderijen van hem verkocht rond de Fl. 4500,-
