Rarely - or never - offered colorful lithograph on handmade paper by Jef Diederen ( 1920 - 2009 )
The artist, originally from Limburg, studied applied arts in Maastricht and continued his studies at the Rijksacademie in Amsterdam.
Together with Pieter Defeche, Ger Lataster, and Charles Eijk, among others, he is considered one of the so-called "Amsterdam/Limburg artists."
Bottom right in pencil: Diederen and 16/40
The work is in reasonable/good condition considering its age. Lo. small repaired tear. The work was once framed and consequently shows a slight – non-disturbing – even discoloration, which will disappear after framing. Some superficial dents.
