Jurriaan van Hall - four egg cups made by Schoonhoven

Four ceramic egg cups – Jurriaan van Hal via Plateelfabriek Schoonhoven (2005)

A rare set of four ceramic egg cups, designed by Jurriaan van Hal for Art Week 2005 and produced by the renowned Schoonhoven Plateelfabriek. Each cup depicts an expressive face in cobalt blue—grotesque, humorous, and unmistakably Van Hal. The decoration was likely applied using transfer techniques, befitting the limited edition of just 400 pieces.

• Edition: limited to 400 pieces

• Material: white ceramic with blue decor

• Origin: Schoonhoven Plateelfabriek, The Netherlands

• Condition: excellent, without damage

These four pieces together form a complete ensemble from an art project that is no longer available at the original price. The combination of artistic signature, local production, and limited availability makes this an attractive object for collectors of contemporary Dutch ceramics and art-related design.
