Expressionist work by Cobra artist Karel Appel. Printed and signed in 1962. Numbered and signed in pencil. The work has a new black wooden frame and acid-free mat. The work is in very good condition. The frame is new and has high-quality UV-resistant (70%) glass and is ready to hang.
The work was published by Der Spiegel both as two separate lithographs accompanying the book "Appel" on thin paper and unsigned, and as a separate lithograph on thick paper, numbered and signed by the artist, in an edition of 50 copies. This is one of the two signed copies on thick paper.
