This work, hand-signed "lucebert '94" in the lower right corner, was created in his recognizable, raw, and mythological style.
It depicts a central, orange-brown mythical creature with wings and claws on a dark background, flanked by a lower-positioned, green-red scaled creature. Typical of Lucebert.
The use of color is strikingly vibrant with bright pastel accents, which contrasts beautifully with the dark support. Given the year 1994, this is a work from the very last year of the artist's life.
