L. Rohbock was a great artist and draftsman who was known for his detailed cities, landscapes, and architecture.
The inscription JM Kolb was that of the 19th-century engraver/etcher who collaborated extensively with Rohbock. The name GG Lange from Darmstadt was that of the person who frequently published the works.
This copy is an issue by the management of Goudse Verzekeringen in 1974 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary. The insurance company was founded in 1924 and still exists.
The steel engraving is mounted on a wooden surface.
