A beautiful and characteristic ceramic wall relief.
It is mounted on a wooden support.
I see a seagull in it, flying towards the coast above rolling waves.
The relief is executed with a coarse, expressive texture and finished with the oxidizing glazes so characteristic of Wiegersma.
This artwork was probably made and fired in Vallauris, France.
Monogram at the bottom right.
