Matthias Rachel - Original 3D glass collage by Matthias Rachel with certificate of authenticity

A striking three-dimensional glass collage by the German artist Matthias Rachel. The work combines a highly textured, relief-like surface in white and silver tones with geometric and curved elements, creating an extraordinary spatial effect. The interplay of different surfaces, light, and shadow is particularly captivating. The seemingly floating forms against the textured background lend the composition depth and change their appearance depending on the angle of light and viewing angle. The work is presented in a high-quality, light silver-colored frame and, thanks to the generous glazing, appears almost three-dimensional. The artwork is signed. Of particular note is the accompanying certificate of authenticity, on which Matthias Rachel personally confirms that it is a handcrafted original. The certificate explicitly identifies the work as a "3D glass collage" and specifies its dimensions as 50 × 60 cm. Matthias Rachel, born in 1961 in Mühlhausen im Kraichgau, initially focused on framing and gilding before working as a freelance artist. His specialties included collages with gold and silver leaf, and later, three-dimensional collages. According to the accompanying artist's certificate, his work has been exhibited in Munich, Freiburg, Mannheim, Wiesbaden, Stuttgart, Paris, New York, and Tokyo, among other places. A decorative and independent original artwork that integrates particularly well into modern and minimalist interiors.
