- Danza de la Tierra (Dance of the Earth), oxidized iron sculpture (unique), 30x33x17 cm, signed and dated on the mounted plate/pinthe, 2003. With this sculpture, the sculptor pays homage to Mother Earth, in the Quechua language of the indigenous people Pacha Mama, the Earth colors appear almost naturally due to the oxidized iron. In the mythical cosmos of the Peruvian natives, the earth plays a central role in mediating between the upper and lower worlds. This nod to historical heritage is skillfully balanced with developments in contemporary sculpture.
