Description

Translated with Google Translate. Original text show .

Fascinating and highly detailed surrealist graphic work, titled "Torfstecher" (Peat Cutter), indicated in the lower right corner of the plate. The depiction is dark, symbolic, and alienating in nature. It shows a peat cutter surrounded by crutches, strange mechanical and organic elements, and a complex, layered background full of symbolism. The work is characterized by a refined hatching technique and an atmosphere reminiscent of Central European Surrealism and Magical Realism.

Condition: In neat vintage condition, professionally framed with a matching mat. See the detail photos for the condition.
