Raphael Hermans - Symphony working together

Beautiful screen print by the renowned Maastricht designer-artist Raphaël Hermans. The work is monogrammed 'RH' in the lower right corner. Professionally framed with a new silver-colored wooden frame.

About the artist:
Raphaël Hermans passionately combines his two great loves: visual art and music. He grew up in an artistic family where there was ample room for creativity, partly inspired by his grandfather Toon. The young Hermans was inspired by his grandfather. 'As a nine-year-old boy, I painted with him in his studio. There were hundreds of art books in his house. Art was there for the taking and was instilled in me, as it were, from an early age.' Since 2008, he has been active in both professions: as a sought-after bassist and as a visual artist whose work can be found in many private and corporate collections. In his own unique way, the artist manages to make his inspiration palpable. Whether it concerns paintings, collages, or sculptures, in Raphaël's art, concise compositions are enriched with colors that do not need to scream to be noticed. In terms of themes, Raphaël loves contrasts. Feelings of tension and loving security can sometimes be found in one and the same composition.
