Stan Klamer was educated at the Academy for Industrial Design, department of free visual design, in Eindhoven and at the Jan van Eijck Academy in Maastricht. His drawings and paintings can be read as maps. "I'm here" is one of the most common pointing gestures when it comes to maps. 'I am here' means: I am both outside the representation, in reality, and in the representation itself, in an imitation of reality.

When purchasing, the work can be picked up in 's-Gravenzande (near The Hague). (Scheveningen), Rotterdam and Delft and 5 minutes from the beach). The deadline for it pick up, with payment in advance, is very generous, in other words, the buyer can work for weeks or even months later and, if possible, combine it with a visit to one of the above towns or the beach.
