Victor Uytterschaut was a Belgian artist born in Brussels in 1847 and died in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France, in 1917. He was a watercolorist, pastelist, and painter . He apprenticed with a Brussels designer of metal ornaments. He trained at the Brussels Academy under the direction of P. Lauters (1859-1867). He created landscapes, seascapes, and cityscapes.
