Education:
Valerio Adami was trained at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera e Liceo Artistico in Milan.
Valerio Adami is an important European pop art artist. His iconic work seems to be inspired by comic strips, through the use of stylized areas of color. He embraces both the present and the past.
Early in his career, Adami often placed everyday objects in a strange context. Later he portrayed many important historical figures such as Freud or Robespierre. Sensual women are also a favorite subject for Adami.
