Tekening met inkt en aquarel van Constance Wibaut.
Ingelijst onder glas en passe partout in roomkleurige lijst.
Het werk op dun papier heeft wat vage welvingen maar dat doet niet af aan de sfeer van de tekening.
Afmeting tekening 39 x 32 cm. Met lijst 66 x 56 cm.
Wordt bij verzending verpakt tussen noppenfolie en platen.
Constance Wibaut, van wie het Gemeentemuseum Den Haag meer dan 2.100 modetekeningen en schetsen bezit. Constance Wibaut werd opgeleid als beeldhouwer, maar was in de jaren '50 en '60 zeer succesvol als mode-illustratrice en modejournaliste voor Elsevier's Weekblad. Hierin deed zij met allure in woord en beeld verslag van de nieuwe mode. Zij bezocht hiervoor de coutureshows in Parijs. Wibaut maakte dan schetsen (croquis), die zij vervolgens uitwerkte tot schitterende, levendige zwart/wit tekeningen, soms ingekleurd met gouache (verf).
