This is a print by the Dutch painter Jan Strube (Amsterdam, September 20, 1892 – Lies, November 9, 1985), who depicts a farm interior in North Brabant around 1900. Strube lived most of his life in North Brabant and became a well-known artist in and around Breda. In 1933, he co-founded the Bredasche Kunstkring (Breda Art Circle), together with Gerrit de Morée, Dio Rovers, and Paul Windhausen. His regional involvement and recognizable themes led to an increasing number of commissions over the years.
