Pat Andrea lives and works alternately in The Hague, Paris and Buenos Aires. Pat Andrea likes to make sketches based on observations and/or events from daily life. Andrea does this with different materials such as graphite, watercolor and charcoal. He belongs to the avant-garde of Dutch art. Pat Andrea won the Jacob Maris Prize for drawing in 1964 and the Royal Grant for Painting in 1971. In 1979/1980 Pat Andrea designs the cover for the NS railway timetable.
Pat Andrea's work is included in the Municipal Museum of Schiedam and the Haags Gemeente Museum. Andrea has been exhibited in Paris, Milan and the US. His work is popular with private individuals and museums.
