Petrus Anthonius (Peter) van den Braken (Eindhoven, September 25, 1896-1979) was a Dutch figurative painter.
In the painter's village of Heeze he was taught by the painter Jan Kruysen. However, he taught himself many of the techniques of painting. Van den Braken worked in his younger years in Eindhoven, Brussels, Kortenhoef, Paris, London and Rome. Later in life he spent some time working in North America in Montreal and Toronto in Canada, Palm Beach in Florida and Mexico City. Back in the Netherlands he worked in Amsterdam, The Hague and Eindhoven and finally in Sterksel.
The Peter van den Braken Center in Eindhoven is named after him.
