• Original monochrome lithograph on laid Rives paper, made by Armando in 1986. Together with 4 other lithographs belonging to the portfolio "Schuldige Landschaft" published by gallery Bébert Rotterdam. Very limited edition of 35 copies.
• This large lithograph is in very good condition and is signed and numbered in pencil by Armando.

Armando was a poet, painter and more, a multi-talent. His expressive works often depict the war and Armando invented the term 'guilty landscape' for the environment where atrocities took place, usually without leaving a trace. His poems consist of crystal clear words, but the connection between them is mysterious; they are fragments, moments, between which horrors seem to take place.
In his prose and reports, Armando also isolates daily conversations or presents 'found' texts (for example, an agricultural guide or the books of Karl May). At the age of twenty-five, Armando published his first poems in the literary magazine Podium (1954), but his debut collection did not appear until 1964 and was called Collected Poems 1951-1963.
In his style, Armando strives for compactness: 'I always want to write beautifully clear Dutch. When I read other people's books, I often know immediately: I would never want to write like that. I want it to be very clear and transparent, as if it were said that way'. His poems have also been compared to 'reinforced concrete'.
