Henry Morton Stanley's account of how he found David Livingstone. Stanley searched for Livingstone in Central Africa, setting out to Zanzibar in 1871, eventually finding the lost explorer in November 1871 in Ujiji, in present day Tanzania. This is an exciting and embellished account of an important voyage that garnered a lot of media attention at the time. Stanley is best remembered today for his finding Livingstone, and for working as an agent for King Leopold II in the Congo.
