George Anson"; "Cook's Voyages Round The World." 4 folding coloured maps in very good condition, printed double column, a nice copy. 831 pages including index.
Fine binding, blue embossed cloth with gilt decorations and titleblock to frontboard and spine. Brown endpapers. Inner hinges are sound. Black and white frontis with portraits of navigators and an engraved title page 'Arms of Sir Francis Drake. Illustrated with 2 plates and 4 fold-out maps. Light foxing throughout this volume, more pronounced to title-page and page-edges. Minor bumping to corners. Binding tight, pages are generally clean and bright, with the occasional odd spot, and the book is in overall very good condition for its age. xxx-831pp, 20 x 14 cm.
