Bob LOKHORST (Amsterdam 1900 - Houthem 1972)
Student of the Piersma Institute in Amsterdam and of the Academy of Art in Berlin under Arthur Kampf. He lived and worked in Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris (1926 - 1942) and Soest.
This versatile artist made drawings, watercolors, paintings, etchings, masks, woodcuts and linocuts. His work has been exhibited in Laren, Utrecht, The Hague and various French exhibitions (such as Salon des Indepèpendants). He painted landscapes, portraits and still lifes.
