Louise Kleinherenbrink, born in 1952 in Blerick, Limburg, has been interested in pictures and beautiful images for as long as she can remember and has always drawn a lot since she was four years old. At the teacher training college she met her art teacher Sef Moonen, who was a well-known artist in Limburg. "I was fascinated by his work and visual storytelling about art and after a few years I came to his studio every Saturday where we worked and I soaked up his knowledge like a sponge." After the teacher training college, she followed the LO drawing and MO drawing courses and studied art history in Nijmegen for a year. I always paint with acrylic on canvas. My themes have a lot to do with an indescribable longing and homesickness. Beautiful sounds, words and poems inspire me to a painting.
