Pierre DELNOY (Vijlen, 11 June 1929) Characteristic of Pierre Delnoy is that he was fascinated by that beloved romantic Limburg landscape, especially Geul and marlland, with its characteristic half-timbered farms and panoramic views. And so in his spare time he enjoyed going out with the easel or drawing material. and his many works came about naturally. Ultimately, this resulted in a great life's work. Numerous illustrations in newspapers (De Limburger and Vaalser weekly), calendar series (DSM and ZOL), books (titles: Villa-Vallis, Aoëpe vinster, Chronicle of a church village, One kuf wil bloome, D'r nagel op der kop and St . Of course there were countless reviews in newspapers, reviews and exhibitions from 1966, the last in a major retrospective at the Thermenmuseum in 1998. A sturdy 50 cutting books at Pierre's home tell stories about his painting life and other activities.
