Co Westerik is an important realist in post-war Dutch painting. Westerik graduated from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague in 1947. Co Westerik's work is about everyday things: dreamy men and women with large eyes perform daily actions as if they were rituals. His paintings are regularly on display in the collection exhibition at Museum MORE.
