This item is an original oil on canvas piece using lithographic techniques. It is an original by Ludovico de Luigi, a well known Venetian artist.
The painting was produced for an International art competition, the Premio Do Forni, in November 2006 which De Luigi duly won. Oil on stretched canvas, mounted within a bespoke wooden frame structure. Lithographic techniques were used to create this image however additional oil work has been applied to the 'point break' wave at the bottom to create a 3D relief. The frame measures 43.5cm x 37cm x 3.5cm deep. The frame side is satin black, frame front silver birch effect. The image dimensions are 41cm x 35cm. The canvas is taut and the artwork is as originally produced. The artist's original signature is bottom right on the work and he signed the back of the canvas confirming what the work was produced for and the date in November 2006.
